The cost of renting apartment or home in Nashville is up 37%

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Our Nashville 2018 reports follow the good and bad that come with Nashville’s growth.

One negative is the cost of renting an apartment or home. The increases in rent are some of the worst in the country.

Researchers at “Smart Asset” compared rent prices across the country from 2014 to 2017.

Nashville ranks #7 for the greatest rent increases.

The average price here jumped 37% to a monthly average of $1,499.
